  • Nice tutorial.

  • what kinda paint is this? seriously need that facemask?

  • is nice to begean for the basics,,,,,,,,,meny just want to "show" their skills

  • for the ones asking how much is the price for that airbrush..i've just bought it ... here in italy it costs 60€

  • thanks for posting this but..

what if I paint with a single action airbrush , different needle size , different paint , different thinness, different psi, different substrate ,different realm , like photo retouching ,,or t-shirts...or fingernails ,,or body tanning.... there is much more to using the airbrush than this, do you agree?

  • i want straight line...

  • how large is your air compressor tank? I can't hear your compressor running.

  • yeah ok you can use the mask

i know but thats for the ones that use can but

still if u use acrilic u have to use it anyways?

thats my doubt do u have to use the mask even if its acrilic....like politec paint with water.....

  • This is a iwata

  • Please no offense but....

The airbrush must be moving BEFORE pulling back to apply paint, and continue to move after releasing, or you get those big balls or globs at the beginning and end of lines. Sorry man, but this is basic stuff dating back to the early 1900's. It has always applied to regular lines and daggers. Beginners must master this before continuing. I'm no expert, but started back in 1985. There are numerous vids on Youtube demonstrating this. Once again, please no offense sir.

  • Bro..how much....

  • great video thank you

  • Those are the worst dagger strokes I have ever seen.

  • As a Chinese not good at English, I hope to have seen Chinese characters shown on your video. Thanks!

  • Im a dumb ass I knew more than you before I watched this video. Why do you guys waste your time...go fishing with your kids.

  • iwata cm-c plus? how much?

  • i knew that before i got my airbrush

  • May I ask what type of it you use?

  • Thank you my brotha! Great vid 4 guys like me.A+ LOL Really, thanks. Where else can i see more of your work?

  • Good tutorial.

    5 stars

  • I have times with my buddy times made I find that well and the type can which

  • its like someone played boggle with your sentence using your words as lettery-type dice

  • thanks

  • ive made some class of air brush and they teached me how to do this and paint with some stensils but now i would like to start making some freestyle on paper witout taking stancils, what should i start with?

  • an english class

  • I just bought one- this vid helped- thx mate :)

  • u suck

  • I learned a lot, thanks for posting this video!

  • nice work! great video , i learned something, thanks

  • wow nice tutorial for begginners dude and for the people saying you suck, id like to see you make a tutorial of your selves air brushing. stupid fags...

  • i can post pictures of the first things i airbrushed since i got my compressor and a cheap airbrush and they look better than this stuff here... but you dont see me knocking this guy all over the internet. so... agreed.

  • ya you can get either a specilally made one for compressor or you can pick one up at your local home depo or lowes or any other place you can find a compressor

  • Does anyone use the internet?!

You can buy kits. You can by the parts separately...

You can find out all this info by reading.

  • No, AIRbrushes use a element called "strontium". When paint and strontium are mixed together it cause a micro nuclear reaction forcing the paint out of the gun.

    No really... I swear!

It's an airbrush... where else is it going to get air from?

  • Please don't be facetious. He could use small aerosols of compressed air...or a large tank or bottle of compressed air or indeed, a compressor. Compressors aren't the only way of running an airbrush.

  • co2 tank

  • google.

  • what the hell r u uing a mask for for the little bit of paint a airbush puts out is not nessary

  • totally necessary, especially if using laquers. I have been painting my son's room and there is heavy paint in the air when I am done some areas. It gets so heavy at times you can taste it.

  • well you inhale all the little pieces of stuff that fly out of it and see where you are in twenty years. i tattoo for a living and theres actually nothing visible or even overspray that comes out and its medical code in progrss that we have to wear them soon because of something called microspatter.... so maybe you should think about that while you lie around in the hospital with some lung diseased cancer you could have avoided by wearing a mask.

  • Is the mask necesary for saftey if you do this for a living? What college class do you recomend to get really good at airbrush? Drawing maybe. All advice will help.

  • ay does anyone know if its better to do graff on girls with decos or airbrush

  • id say airbrush man... u can use a broader range of paint...

  • Auto-Air Colours (UK), House of kolor (US) is water based paint. Easy and safe to work with. No messing with thinners and masks, etc

  • what kinda paint i need to yousde can i use normal paint with paint thiner

    ?? thx

  • You can get water-based paint. Easy!

  • the guy is stoned :D

  • Blackbull or Revell

  • whats a good airbrush for a starter???

    please help someone

  • Iwata is one of the best of airbrusher.

  • Iwata Eclipse is the one i bought, and 2 days after i got it im already amazing!

  • awesome i can do that to practive my hand movement right with paper?

  • every time i use my new master airbrush it sputter and gives a choppy unconsitant line and when i pull the knob back to make paint come out it wont do anything until its all the way back then boom it make a pile of paint so i cant fade or do shadows or anything its like using a can of spray paint thats almost empty why is it doing this it is brand new

  • your corused

  • do you have moisture trap on your airbrush compressor because some times it will make your airbrush sputter.

  • Your paint is to thick, or you are stopping and starting the air instead of keeping the air on constant while you paint. This causes clogging of the tip (tip dry). Remove the protective cap, and carefully clean with a paint brush dipped in what ever you are using to thin your paint with. If it's really bad you might have to carefully take out the needle, and clean it also. Then put your thinner in the airbrush, and give it a blast. Might have to adjust the air flow also.

  • Hey smart ass, obviously it doesnt cause tip dry, his brush seems fine, so does mine, get a better hobby than criticising ppl. Wat a fucking geek.

  • wow, actually every paint causes tip dry as far as I know except the wicked colorz which claim to not do so. too much air can increase the tip dry and too thick or cheap paints also. Tip dry is a common problem that blocks up the brush and causes sputtering. Also having too thick paint / improper PSI for the thickness can cause sputtering.

  • you have like 10 airbrush on your table :P its so nice ,

  • ima start doin dis so i have a question.. lets say im writing my name in black and i want to add some sparks in blue how do i change the color

  • can we do art and other stuff with a car airbrush

  • If it's a small airbrush the size of the one in this video yes, you should just use airbrush paints instead of automotive paints and may need to dial down the air pressure.

  • Don't put the moisture trap too close to the compressor. Run a 30 ft hose off of the compressor, leaving it coiled up. The ho air travels down the coiled line and cools it down. Now, mont your water trap on the end of the coiled line. The cooled air now REALLY separates the water more effectively and dumps the water into the trap more effectively

  • does anyone know what to do when the paint splatters when you try and do a fine line. On my brush it kind of looks like water is coming out by i have a moisture trap

  • did you try thinning the paint? or increasing the air? Or maybe cleaning the tip? I had the same problem but it was usually one of the 3.

  • wat kind of iwata is it?

  • its probably an hp-cs

  • kool. similar to doing graffiti art, in some ways i guess...well i guess the airbrush control part, same as having Can control weird..

  • i bought the stuff made for airbrush its like $15 for a bottle for the better stuff and you can get $3 bottles at micheals

  • are you using an iwata airbrush in the video

  • I've just started airbrushing too. I got mine for christmas and it is a really nice piece of kit!

  • man i got the machine and da gun but i dont know which paint i have to use do yountell me about them and i will be greatfull

  • An airbrush will take lots of different paints. To practice I am using acrylics. The important thing is that it should be the consistency of milk. Too thick and it won't be able to atomise. Just experiment with mixing paint and water til you find what works.

  • thnx

i want to ask you if you have proplem if i got ur email adres

    so do you mind

  • if you can draw, you are of to a good start, if you cant you will find it very hard. No matter what, it will NOT be as easy as in the videos

  • Too true. It's tough going back to basics in a new medium.

  • I'm just getting into airbrush too, with a HP-AP iwata, this helped me out before I get into playing with paints, hope to see more tuts from you!
