Mr Flippin has for many decades very ably carried on the grand tradition of outstanding old-time fiddlers to have come out of Mount Airy & the district thereabouts. He is one of what The US Marines used to call The Old Breed .. i.e. he was around & actively involved BEFORE WW2 came along. He's a fine trainer of up-&-coming fiddlers, too. So here's hopin that some bright young bowman emerges before too long, to take up the mantle ...

Thanks -- and it is Whoa Mule. Many old time songs have similar melodies -- this is very close to Fortune.
