My friend is into Dio and Iron Maiden and stuff and he prefers music where you can understand the words as opposed to "Cookie Monster vocals." I've got to tell him that though stuff like Dio and Iron Maiden are great, it's not always just about understanding the words. It can be about just feeling it or moving around to it or banging your head to it or pumping/beating your fists to it or drumming to it or whatever have you.
