This year, I have only bought 1 new release game (Mortal Kombat) , 3 used games ("Tomb Raider Underworld", "Street Fighter IV" and "Fable II") and pre ordered 2 games ("Arkham City" and "WWE 12) but I recently won this game and should be in the mail soon. So I guessed this falls under if I were to buy 6 games this year. Great review

While i do agree that portal 2 dosent have much replayability i also disagree, at least from the PC side anyway. Portal 2 on pc has very dedicated modding community and there's already a ton of very challenging coop and single player maps.They may not always have a "Valve quality" to them but it is something that can keep me occupied with the game. Amazing game i just wish valve would have put some challenges like time trials or whatnot like they did with portal 1. At least theres free DLC

Woody: What really makes Portal is the storyline and the voice acting (for me). I think you should give examples of these, because otherwise your review essentially just shows the basic game mechanic, and while that is good it alone leaves portal very boring (again, in my opinion). There are many ways you can do this without spoilers, including clips of Glad0s' insults, and perhaps an explanation of the basic story.

that is, i think shooting games don't ahve any replay value. So you can shoot at other people in mulitplayer "i shot you dead again, wow, so much fun AGAIN, next time you shoot me, how about that?" oh please

but in puzzles you can find different methods how to solve them, how fast you can solve them etc. which is a lot more fun than "next time i can shoot you more dead than last time"

Portal 2 is so much more fun that CoD. Too bad everyone has been brainwashed by Activision and live by the CoD franchise and refuse to accept the fact that there are way better games out there. Btw I'm not hatin on CoD. I play it, too, and it is fun, but I have way more fun playing Portal 2, NBA 2K11, Red Dead Redemption, LBP etc.

I'd like to see a Let's Play, as Portal is a game that is going to be different based on who is playing it. The most entertaining part of a Portal vid, is seeing how a person reacts to/figures out the puzzles and etc.

Normally, like you said, people do "blind runs" but I think since you know where you're going and what you're doing, it'll go a lot smoother that other LPs in that you wouldn't be getting stuck on any given part of the game. So I think an LP would be stellar, Woody.
