  • When are you doing another video?

  • The word Sheriff commonly used here in the US and in the UK comes from a combination of two Old English words. Under King Alfred the Great the Anglo Saxon territories were United to form part of what is now considered England. The land was later divided into shires or as we call them in the US counties. Each shire had a judicial officer called a reeve to oversee each county. The position was that of Shire Reeve eventually shortened to Sheriff.

  • @swopet Oh how interesting :) Thanks!

  • @swopet very interesting... just to add - they are also called counties in the UK these days. In England, only County Durham actually has the word county in its name (there are more in the other UK countries). There are many counties that include "shire" such as Yorkshire, Leicestershire, Gloucestershire, Berkshire, Warwickshire... but the word "shire" itself is rarely used.

  • On one of your previous videos you mentioned Dreamfall and The Longest Journey. I've been a big fan of Monkey Island since 1993 and the series ranks up with my top 5 ever but I've never found any games even close...till now. I went and bought them both from steam after your video and played LJ over the weekend, before I make a start on Dreamfall I had to come back and thank you. I owe you man.

  • Awesome, Well i guess im the first ^_^'

  • Oh awesome. First comment and First view. :) Thanks.

  • Wow, I've never had a "FIRST!!" comment before on my vids :P
