best sounding mazda 6 ive heard i got a 04 6 v6 i want to change the exaust but after hearing yours i want straight piping all the other exaust ive heard suck did you cut the cat off and is it a cat into a str8t pipe or str8t pipe from the manifold back and if so how did you get the engine light to stay off ???

bodykits, not sure there are any for the 09's yet, aside from a possible factory lip kit if its offered.

rims depend on your taste, i dont know u so i wouldnt know what u like.

well with the 3 being a 2.3L it wont sound like that, but google F1 headers for either the 6 or the 3 and check up on possibly an injen or corksport exhaust and you should be good with a low rumble. wont be like mine, but it'll sound good.

go on CEG forums......do a lil research....you one of the few who havent swapped or isnt looking into swapping.

my 3.0L has more displacment and better flowing heads along with VVT and a better intake manifold. i really dont care what u think.......i truely dont, cause i know what my car does. and if your tooo stupid to realize your motor is obsolete now, then more power to you. and im not knocking anyone who kept their 2.5L, but the 3.0L is hands down a better motor.

the block in the car is a bored out 2.5L svt contour motor for the most part. difference is the heads on my motor is better.

Yes i am talking about the KL motor series DE or ZE or the millienia version JE. and noone swaps the 2.5 for the 3.0 lol they make the same output power i rather stick to my KLZE which puts more out then your 3.0L custon bored out whatever you wanna call it. well in this vid all i had was axle-back str8 piping. basically replaced the stock mufflers with tips and piping. that cost $160........not to expensive, any exhaust shop can do it....since then i've have doen soooo much more work to the car.......the only thing i left stock in the car is the factory resonator....lol

as for it being made by porshe, i not totally sure, but it is posible that they couldve had something to do with the design.......my motor is found in the twin turbo noble.......look it up.

the V6 in the mazda 6 is a better revised rendition of the ford 2.5L motor that would be found in the SVT contours. the block is pretty much the same, but bored out to 3.0L with the addtion of sinter forged rods that are also used in the Aston Martin DB9

the heads were redone by mazda as well and also received a nice lil' goody by doing that........VVT which works just as good if not better than Hondas Vtec.......kicks in smoother as well.

broadway........all I did was an axle back. I removed the factory mufflers and piping from the Y out to the rear bumper. added my own stainless piping in the same diameter. added my tips on the end(perfectly placed...lol) aand voila...beast mode.  no headers yet...but will have in the very near future. im upgradeing my drivetrain right now to be able to handle power in the upwarads of 400ft/lbs of torque
