on an island in the middle of the Pacific, we all got along. I didn't experience an ounce of racism growing up in Kalihi. Yeah, got cracks and beat downs, but no racists. Not until I left the island. Till this day, my generation growin' up at home never thought of "Braddah, you craving dog?" as racist, but today...freakin' kids get all sore about jokes like that. What, need a hug? Dog taste good, you know!
