Fulani are most probably a mix of Berber/Tuareg and other West African groups. In Senegal and Mauritania there is a group called Toucouleurs that is indeed more closely linked to Sereers, especially physically.

I have come to notice things about fulnai videos like this one on youtube or pictures on the internet. They either show woodabe or Bororo or cultural fulanis (Rimaibe). The fulani ppl I know are either copper, gold or bronze skinned, straight , or curly straight hair and somewhat slender and thinner features. The darker ones look like somalians. Salamaleykum. Fulani are the most ancient Niger-Antlantic group and language. Wolof is loosely related to it, while Sereer is more closely linked to it. They did not come from the East, even if they many common points with Nilotic people.
Fulani are most probably a mix of Berber/Tuareg and other West African groups. In Senegal and Mauritania there is a group called Toucouleurs that is indeed more closely linked to Sereers, especially physically.

I have come to notice things about fulnai videos like this one on youtube or pictures on the internet. They either show woodabe or Bororo or cultural fulanis (Rimaibe). The fulani ppl I know are either copper, gold or bronze skinned, straight , or curly straight hair and somewhat slender and thinner features. The darker ones look like somalians. I was just clarifying on the basic statue and structure of Fulani.
Like I said Fulani Originated in Futa Jallo,and related to Wolof language.But I strongly denied any inclusion of Fulani into Afro-Asiatic,after studied both.

Haplogroups A and T are usually found in East African, when they are found in Africa. and on the maternal line Fulanis show affinities with East African. If you look at the word Punt, some say Pulbe Pula. Even their culture and etymology is similar to some of the ways of East Africans. Since life began in East Africa anyway, there is no coincidence of the East/West Fulani connection.

The marker was very low among yoruba ( 4%) which mean is unassociated marker.
Nevertheless,R1b is not European ,but Asiatic.
European R1b R-269 is younger than Chadic R1b R-V88.
European want to steal R1b from Asia,but they failed.
Gibralta is where they thought R1b entered Africa,but Moroccan Berber who are very close to Gibralta had 0% R1b in them.

"Yoruba people are in a haplo group closley linked with serbs," was my quote, which was in reference to haplogroup H.(h49) which is related to some eastern europeans. R1b is found in very low frequencies in most of asia but in higher frequencies in cerntra Eurasia, and is a Common WESTERN european haplogroup. It is not typical in high frequencies of most asian populations.

Yes,the marker reached high frequencies in Western Europe,but originated in Asia.The only marker native to Europe is "I".
R1b entered Europe the same time it entered Africa,all migrations came from Asia.
The are no sign of that marker came from Europe into Africa,if you still not satisfied ,then you need to explain how European migration took place.
R1b was found in Egypt all the way to Mid East,and was absent in Morocco.

YOU seem to be mis informed there are tons of markers that start or originated in different parts of the world that are no longer common in those areas, Haplogroup H, is of more recent african origin, however its descendant in eastern europe is not a typical african haplogroup. It is and has become unique to that area. regardless of where it came from.

Regardless of its origin its not a typical asian genetic family, yet it is very typical of western Europe and chadic speaking groups. Yoruba are part of haplogroup H specifically h49 which is an ancestor of h4 found in specific eastern slavic people. Does that mean that Serbs are African? Or that Yorubas are slavic? They are not full-blooded africans,that's why they generally have light skin.AhavaYah is right. Dna tests confirm what I've written.

@royalina Bullshit, please stop with that revisionism. That is an old Fula legend that indeed Fulani came from the East, and perhaps even India, but it has been proven wrong. The "Red" Fulani or Bodajo, are indeed closely related to Tuareg people, that are also among the oldest inhabitants of West/North Africa.
