Many people have had an " Illumination of Conscience " such as St Paul. It maybe called a conversion, or a series of illuminations. Either way these are LIFE ALTERING. Once they occur to you, you can NEVER go back to your OLD LIFE. We have a God that is SO LOVING that he wants all of his children to be with Him in Eternity. The human mind cannot grasp of the Power of the Love of GOD!

I want to point out that Howard Storm reveals that they told him there is no "best" religion. The best religion is the one that brings you closest to God. I recommend checking out Nanci Danison's NDE. I strongly feel that her account is one of the most excellent and accurate out there.

"Sea" represents all the people who are not believers. The New Heaven and New Earth are only for God's people. Satan and his crew are done away with.

Heaven is on another planet in space, read Genesis 1:8 'and God called the firmament Heaven'. So Heaven is in the firmament, in a better planet somewhere else in space. And hell must be in a burning star like our sun...

The thing about these near death experience testimonies is that if the event were real, wouldn't everyone experience the same deity? Why has a Hindu never come out of a car crash telling people about his vision of Jesus, or a Muslim seeing Vishnu, etc? If they were based in reality and not imagined, why are they all different?

desire for hard work and dedication to your family. Which brings me to my question. I believe not so much in giving up all I own to strangers, but more to take care of the ones I directly love. To show gods love through my actions with my family. Not meaning I cast others aside. God is good and doesn't condemn people for being good, but for sinning. You sin, wether you admit it or not, we all do, but we have to admit that, which takes some humility and then work to purify our hearts, by following Gods word and commands which are pure Holiness.

If you think you are good, yet you have a problem with the Bible and Jesus then I think you are mistaken about your self appraisal. God is perfect, and we need to humble ourselves and repent.

Because we are all selfish and NOT good at our core, but we can do good things...it's not based on what we do, but whether we accept Jesus to cover our sins. We are born in sin as children of adam. Either you believe it, or you choose not to, and condemn yourself. Not god, we condemn ourselves by our pride of unbelief.

We are born innocent from Gods Spirit, but can have inherited sins from parents, such as if they smoked - and later bad parenting can influence and turn a child into sinful ways.

But before the age of accountability and ability to reason right and wrong and Gods existence shown in creation if a child dies they go straight to heaven.

Jesus used children as an example of those who would enter the kingdom of heaven, because they are humble and innocent generally at infant age.

why not slaughter all children? If you believe that, then to kill children will prevent an eternity in hell. I don't know if there is an afterlife or not, but I have felt enough pain in this life alone that I absolutely refuse to have children, just because this life sucks. If you believe in an even worse existence called hell, then you are a monster for not killing children and preventing all possibility of suffering.

Perhaps you are judging yourself? No one has the right to judge you other than god himself. If you are a truly good person the holy spirit will lead you to the people you need to meet or the wisdom you need to learn. In fact, perhaps it was the holy spirit that lead you to watch this video and ask your question. God is the source of good. If you are truly good that is coming from god. Knowing God and Jesus brings you closer to the source of good. Which can only help you.

I think the best way to truly become close to God is for you to find the answer to your question. All any believer can tell you is what they believe. It becomes something important to you when you have come the these answers yourself. The journey will make you closer to God as well. Do that for every question and I believe your quest for truth will lead you to him. Reading the Bible will help if you read it with an open mind.

@baltazar322 I believe he means that goodness must go beyond actions that stoke our ego; goodness must extend to actions beyond the self. Many times just keeping away from evil, living separated from everyone and everything perceived as evil is not the answer. Goodness manifests itself when it extends beyond the "self" to alll those needing charity, mercy and love. Becoming aware of others and the willingness to share or help without judging if they are deserving expresses real goodness.

@baltazar322 God standards are incredibly high, we cannot get into heaven without meeting those Perfect standards in the bible. Thats why God sent Jesus Christ to save us all from damnation.

Everyone is not good enough for Heaven, Jesus is the only way to save us.

God wont condemn you, that what religious people want you to believe, if you have a good heart and try to be a good person, if you love others you wont have any problems. Just keep an open mind and heart to god even if you dont believe keep an open mind to the possibility and try and be a good person. @postmasterw00t No. Breaking God's law is sinning and if you (this is what I came to believe)don't seek forgiveness for it you'll be punished. All is even better if you have a good heart and all but that doesn't stop you from sinning. If a murderer was standing by a judge and said "Well... I'm a good person and I've done good things so I shouldn't pay the price." or something like that. wouldn't make sense.. so why should God let you go just because of the good things you do?

Thats just what the bible etc says, but who wrote the bible? Have you actually read the sripture? god tells people to rape other people, he murders everyone with a flood etc. Personally i do believe in a higher being, a "god" if you will and that god is pure love and the intertwining of conciousness, the the god of the bible. I did look up rape and the bible into google, but it seems like God punishes the rapist if he rapes. Creating your own version of God is also a sin too, which you are doing. I do believe that if you love God and Jesus and have strong faith and try your best to be good you have a chance, but if you DO sin you gotta pray for forgiveness because it's breaking God's law.

Actually thats not true. As infants we are born totally ignorant, there is no denial of a source to life and there isn't yet the rational or capacity to reason that all of this order, function and consciousness surely has a source and essence beyond itself. As Paul says in the NT the invisible God is revealed in his creation. Only the very dense would ignore the great order, wonder, pattern, systems, laws and consciousness that we are and not realize that it must all have a source and origin beyond itself. It is very ignorant to presume your consciousness and the universe arose with no greater conscious source behind it
