Hint to all those it concerns. Once you knock down his shield, hit him with the sword then buster to stun him, once he's stunned hit hum with the sword again to destoy his wings and then you are free to attack him. It's quicker and much more ffective.

About the time i've spent, i cant remember too. With nero i didn't died. but with dante i died a few times because i'm not a very good player with dante. i don't know how much time i've spent to complete the DMD for the 1st time, but it must be something like 2h:30min. i can't give you the time now because i've deleted all the dmc4 saves, but i can tell you that in 2 weeks, because i'm gonna have a few exams next week, and i must start everything beggining

How do you get the third aerial hit (Roulette Spin) off? Whenever I try to do it, I can get the first 2 hits, then he backs up RIGHT before the Roulette Spin. Do you need to jump and start the combo the instant you can?

Yeah, if you don't start the aerial combo soon enough, he'll take off before you can finish with a roulette spin.

I barely land the final hit each time, and I start it fairly early.

Things like air hike and special DT attacks are expensive and start off at between 5000 and 6000 proud souls, but when you purchase an ability all the others go up in price. Today I finally got 55000 for my 2nd last ability and now have to save up 105000 for "enemy step". Thing is you can also refund the proud souls to purchase another ability if you need it, but of course then you don't get to keep the one that you got the proud souls refunded from.

There's nothing wrong with farming proud souls, sure you could go through level after level but most of the time you aren't fighting; you're just running around, jumping or solving puzzles. I'd rather just fight a boss and then get 2k or so proud souls and start over, not only is it easier but it saves time for us achievement whores on the 360.

That's the Bloody Palace mode. You get it for beating the game. Not sure if it's unlocked differently on the PC version.

There is an easier for bringing Sanctus to his knees, destroy his barrier and slice him once so he blocks after that use your devil bringer and knock him down, that way is faster :P

Each time you beat a secret mission the first time, you get a blue orb fragment. If you beat it the second time, you get red orbs. When your nero devil arm glows, it means a secret mission or hidden orb is nearby.

You're killing him really really slowly. Couple of tips:

When he guards himself with the sword, buster him, it will knock the sword out of the way, and if you strike him once with your sword you will knock him defenseless ready for you to wail away at him.

Also, when he appears from the ground and sort of swings the sword around him, buster that, it will instantly knock him defenseless.

This version of sanctus is 10x easier than his first form in mission...11 I think it was?

Well, if you have the PC version, you can simply play the Legendary Darkm Knight Mode,

which has simply 4-times the Enemys than Demon-Hunter at roughly the Same Difficulty. Proud souls are (i think) calculated by the amount of Damage you do and to what enemy you do it to.

Mission 2 nets about 7000 Proud souls at about

25 minutes gameplay.

And in my Opinion, kickin the Crap out of 100s

of Scarecrows is mor fun than bashing Sanctus, plus you get about 15000 red orbs or more, if youre good!

this is preety useful advice but i did my proud soul farming another way i did mission 6on dante must die mode because of the dice game i would usually land on red or purple which would teleport me to the toad which i would have to fight a couple times then after i would complete it the mission and get average 5000-7000 proud souls

well, u unlock LDK mode by completing devil hunter mode (if u was asking that) and u just farm mission 2 there, in ldk mode u need just one thing - exceed 3 level moves, max act is helpful but you can do it without it, so, in place where there's like 30 scarecrows u exceed your sword till maximum and then just streak (if there's enough monsters u can get SSS from D instantly) and when get SSS exceed > streak > exceed > streak, it'll give u tons of stylish pts (and proud souls ofc.)
