Firstly before Israel went into Gaza the Palestinian ppl were in poverty. This is because of Hamas not Israel. Israel is not the government in Gaza, Hamas is so any financial problems are on Hamas' head. that land did not belong to Palestine before Israel's independence. Israel wasnt moved in to that area by the UN. There was a 6 day war with Syria &Israel where Israel won the land fair &square after which point the UN debated wheather or not the land won was fair and it was deemed that Israel &the people living in Isael have a right to be a nation unto themselves.

As for the West Bank, yes Israelies still live there though it is only 300,000 compared to the Palestinian 2.5 million. I do agree that the Israelis should move out. As for the ruling the West Bank it's shared between Israeli and Palestinians govt. The difference is the West Bank is not firing at Israel. In fact 23,000 palestinians from the West Bank work in Israel.

Secondly Israel did not land grab in 1948. In fact they lost land. In 1967 (not 1969) they WON land in a war. As for that land with the exception of the Golan Heights everything has been given back. Israel is in negotiations with Syria about the Golan. Tzipi does not want the Gaza or the West Bank, Israel has pulled out from there. Israel doesn't want the Sinai, it belongs to Egypt. If only hamas would stop using the civilian population as shields to protect themselves, the casualties would be a lot less. However they are just cowards hiding behind children. while throwing rockets when nobody is looking. Israel has every right to retaliate against these mad terrorists, even if it takes the lives of a few civilians, it is war, not pretty but war nonetheless. So when the Israeli military bombs and kills 200 people and wounds another 600 people its fine and not terrorism? Because clearly they didnt hit 800 terrorists, they had to have killed hundreds of civilians. Seems a little hypocritical to me. And they wonder why a few people would want revenge to the loss of their loved ones.

And that still excuses Israel of the murder of innocent civilians. And that land belonged to Palestine before the UN moved the Jews back to it in the 40s. So Im not sure we can even call Israel a real country. I dont know about you but if a group of outside governments moved people on to my land and forced me to live in settlements Id be a little pissed and want them to leave too. that land did not belong to Palestine before Israel's independence. Israel wasnt moved in to that area by the UN. There was a 6 day war with Syria &Israel where Israel won the land fair &square after which point the UN debated wheather or not the land won was fair and it was deemed that Israel &the people living in Isael have a right to be a nation unto themselves.

I come from a country that has known terrorism and occupying forces on the streets, i know the injustices than can be inflicted by occupying forces and the raw feelings that it can unleash. Those human beings on the Gaza strip have been treated less well than animals by Israel, the civilians have no where to run, no bomb shelter in their gardens, no gardens for that matter. I come from Iran. so I to know terrorism and can tell you that after having lived in a Palestinian area of Chevron this summer for a month you cannot possibly imagin the sort of behavior of Hammas they are insane. Israel announces whenever they are entering a safe house of Hammas days in advance Hammas sends hundereds of missles a day into heavily populated residentian neghiborhoods. I suggest you do what I did and actually find out for YOURSELF before speaking

The difference is that the Israelis have freedom of movement, they can leave whenever they want, you say you have lived in a Palestinian area, tell me this, did every palestinians there have running water, electricity, parity of esteem? Dont misunderstand me, i think what Hamas are doing is disgusting, hiding behind the population, but these actions by Israel will only serve to create more terrorists.
