One the Great indeed; but you have to see John on the double bass, or contra-bass. He plays his part on the strings, while doing a counter-solo and the shoulder of the bass: this in response to the conga. It was insane: I'm playing the conga while he is hitting the base on the shoulder and saying "Beet that drum, boy, beet that drum." All in perfect harmony. Except for me, i got lost. These are some to the greats musicians of our time, and i was sitting with then.

It is good to see John again. I haven't seen him in about 20 years. I hope is is doing as good as he is playing; But, i know that's impossible: he would have to be a millionaire with Halle Berry by his side.
