Elmwood is one of my favorite places to go graving in, purely for the historical aspect of the cemetery, the wide spectrum of notables, politicians, business magnates, etc there. If you like Elmwood cemetery as much as I do and appreciate, the tranquil confines of one of the oldest cemeteries in South East, Michigan if not the state.You might be interested in the book "Elmwood Endures: History of a Detroit Cemetery" by Michael Franck. I think you can find it on Amazon.
