Wow. sounds great. I grew up with Rush. I clicked on a video your in with Steve Nash. It's a cover by Eve 6. Inside out. You all sounded really good in that song. Hope you stay with the band because you add a lot of personality and music to it. Fun to watch.

Hey, I hope you don't mind, but is there a place I can get the full tab? I mean I love the fact the tab is included in the video as you play, and its the coolest thing ever, but I'd like to sit down and take it slow since I am kind of a beginner. I love the tab you used and would love to use it :D

@footballchic121 Heck no. Geddy is a great teacher! It's one of the first songs that I learned. I learned Red Barchetta and Freewill before this. You just have to practice the parts over and over.

@renzuccio2366 Oh heck no- I am terrible at the slap style that Vic Wooten does. I am actually going back and relearning how to play bass. I skipped whole years of playing while I was raising kids. So I haven't really studied bass since the first two years that I played when I was a young woman.

01:30 you can play that part in the 1st position and use open D string. you wouldn't have to move your hand.

what's your favorite version of Tom Sawyer? I think the one I like best is from Exit...Stage Left. It's not overdone, the timing is all very tight and each instrument comes through very clearly in the mix.

Geddy didn't really have that same slightly-distorted sound he's got now in that recording, though...seems like the Ric and the Wal had tighter, more percussive sounds than the Jazz Bass does.

Speaking of the Jazz Bass, have you tried out the Geddy Lee sig model?
