That is Oakvale. In fable II you can find a book called the curse of Oakvale. And it talks about a evil scourge who falls in love with the lady of Oakvale. She hates him and because of this he locks her and all she loves into a glass globe never to see the day of light again.

i think that IS oakvale! Thresa said it was destroyed but you never accualy hear of it's fate... however you see it's ruins on your way to bloodstone

to kill Blue shafow's use melee

to kill yellow shadows use ranged weapons

to kill red shadows use magic

i knew it was magic but i used magic against them and it didn't have much effect and i thought it was maybe because i only got any magic abilities to kill them and only had level 1 lightning because i didn't want to use up a bunch of exp. I've passed this now anyway.
