  • there will never be a actress like her that can bring pure delight and then pure selfishness in a single sceen, and she makes u love her talent. Gone with the wind will allways be a movie i admire

  • She is soo freakin awesome changing accent! Listen to her natural accent, british english and then remember her as Scarlett O'hara

  • Stupid interviewer - nowadays would be working for OK mag et al

  • In '57, if you were 40+, you were old and it may not have been regarded as better. There was no decent nip and tuck, sure but a lot of the attitude and the styles.. the formality of how one dressed in public may have made people seem older than they were. Even teens graduating from high school then looked older than they would look now. Now, even though old-timers grouse, wearing less stiff hairstyles and clothing makes older women look better.

  • Lol you can tell Vivien just wanted to get out of there! At least she was polite enough to chat a bit most celebrities nowadays just keep walking and ignore everyone. "I gave up on arithmetic when I was eight." Haha I love her!

  • To me it looks like she aged rather quickly, but she certainly was way too young when she died. Sad that she was so ill.

  • Here she looks a little like Wallis Simpson, the Duchess of Windsor. A role she might have played greatly, had a film then been done. From youth through maturity, she might have been great playing many famous queens and/or royal mistresses.

  • hey,she could have played wallace in a film.

  • Vivien is a sweetheart, she's cute even here when she was already older and very sick. Nvertheless she remains gentle and charming. A true actress, and a very great lady. I'm glad Jack Merivale was with her, that way she wasn't so alone.

  • love viv.
