@freewheelinQ Comments like this really piss me off. Cat Stevens was great, and continues to be great as Yusuf Islam. Mainstream music today as a whole sucks. But there is still good music being produced, you just have to put a little bit of effort into finding it. There are bands like The Black Keys, Neutral Milk Hotel, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Interpol and many more that continue to put out great music just beneath the surface. There is always crap music, but only the great music survives.

I usually don't make comments on the dislikes. People like what they want to, it's none of my business... but it makes me sad that some did press the "dislike" button to this song. I have always considered and loved Cat Stevens as a true poet and accomplished musician, regardless of his religion of whatever. His songs are love and freedom to my atheist ears, and I wish there were more men and women like him. This world is so cold and his music so shiny, I feel like I am traveling in outer space.
