Actually, the new set disappoints me. I missed the old set with the control room background. I personally think the anchor desk is too big that seperates everyone apart too far. The plasma screens behind the desk are hanged too high that they become totally useless. Also, I personally dislike "SGX" everywhere. There is nothing special in SGX, as NYSE is (No people, no trading floor). The new graphics do not really match with the music, especially in Cash Flow & CapCon. Oh, so many to complain!!
The new studio at SGX is indeed waste. Even though it's big, but there're only 3 shooting areas. Speaking of studio, I think they should consider moving into HKSE (HKEx), where studios with trading floor views.
It's amazing to see a uniform look across all of CNBCs stations finally, and that set looks great.
