I got frostwire to open on my mac but it just says connecting but never connects to the internet. I am running snowleopard 10.6 idk if that has anything to do with it but I want to get it working before it gets shut down like limewire unless apple already did for macs:/ sure as shit hope not

Vampire5003 i downloaded the whole thing and then dragged the icon onto the app icon and then it appeared under my apps folder. When i click the icon to open the program it says "frostwire is an app from the internet....are you sure u want to open it?" when I click open the little frostwire icon bouncing up and down on my dock disappears and nothing happens. I see that a lot of people are having this same problem.

For some reason, whenever I click the DOWNLOAD button, the page never loads. In safari, it the window changes but says SAFARI CANNOT DISPLAY...( something like that) and Firefox never changes but the little pinwheel thing in the tab moves. I am running snow leopard. Is that the problem?

I'm a new mac user so this question may seem a bit dumb. I dowloaded frostwire fine and everything but an icon has appeared on my screen (I'm not talking about the frostwire icon in the dock area) which says frostwire 14.18.5 and has a white rectangular icon. Is this supposed to/have to be there? If not how can i get rid of it?

@CUDOOinc Does it have a zipper? if so, its most likely the zip file. you get rid of it by dragging it somewhere else. If your worried about it, drag it to your trash, then go to File>Secure Empty Trash.
