This is my favorite hymn of all time. Your rendition was absolutely amazing. Thank you so much for this!! It makes me happy that you use your gifts from God to praise him.
I love these old hymns! I love playing them on the piano myself! You do an excellent job with ALL OF YOUR SONGS!! I enjoy it! I continue to keep getting better at it.. hopefully one day im like you! =)
As old as this song is (1918), I just heard it a few weeks ago when our organist played it as the Postlude on our pipe organ in our 1907 sanctuary--I was transfixed by the lovley melody and asked him the title. I requested he play it again as the Postlude and he graciously did so two or three weeks later. I love your playing and all these old hymns--I've subscribed to your site. I collect the popular dance music of the 1920's and their beautiful melodies fit right in with songs like these.
Thank God for His grace otherwise, I would be consumed. Thanks for the reminder and not condemn myself. In swing low, when there is a pause what are the notes you add? How about sharing just a line or two. I saw this first line how you did it.
the chorus part when the left hand has the melody is the most dificult i always have prolems with it and get mixed up...
