Yes, as I say in the video the whole pose and approach is in the Tite Kubo/Bleach style; Clearly I went too far in basing it on a study I'd made of Ichigo, so my apologies if it looks like I was trying to pull a fast one here.

I'd really like to replace this video with another one, this time without the whole Ichigo look. Hopefully I can do that in the weeks ahead. --mark

Hahaha, you know what the funny thing is? If you go to Mark's DA page you'll see both studies of Full Metal Alchemist, & Bleach. LOL. I think that's either Hiro right after a long stint of Bleach drawings or just straight up Ichigo. But yeah he's been doing a lot of FMA & Bleach studies in preparation for his next project. So yeah, that could totally be Ichigo.

yes after a while it becomes natrual just depends on wat ur drawing...because if u draw something new then ur obviously gonna want to draw the guidelines to make it look good...but after a while it should get imprinted to ur head...and i dunno about u but after i draw a picture of a picture...i seem to be able to draw it without guidelines and just from my momery

I personally would suggest checking out Claymore, for one. It has a very unique look and feel to it. Otherwise I'm not sure. My manga collection isn't extensive.

I'm impressed that he used such a wide-nibbed pen to ink that. Sadly with thinner-nibbed pens the fast strokes tend to wear down your point, sometimes jamming it up into the pen. If you want to use a thinner width pen, make sure you go a little slower with your lines.
