The Lego motor is also a generator. plug the light in to the motor with no battery box and turn the axel of the motor.O that is not a switch i think that is a sound box.

Most of the smaller DC motors were also generators. You are right the "switch" is a sound module. I built the ELEVATOR today and discovered that. It makes one kinda sound in one direction and another in another direction. Pretty cool. Look for my "Bills' Creations - Lego Elevator" later on today... Thanks for the comments... Bill
