  • could you send me a link to the song alone, i cant seem to find one with just the song.

  • @Chancebeloudtv The link I had was taken down a long time ago. I do not know where to find it either.

  • Invader Sex........yep.

  • Thanx for the quick response. Please do a mix video. I learned a lot about S1 on Ur vids alone. So I would like to thank u for taking the time to do them. A little side note, I'm still waiting for presonus to add that tape stop effect in the fade in/fade out. Lol

  • Did u ever do the actual mixing video? I can't find it on your channel.

  • @RodneyRicoWillis No. Rights to the song were in question at the time after I did this video. I'll be doing one for the Studio One 2.0 soon I hope.

  • I'm waiting on that mixing video. Acctually have a track that's about to be mixed. Need your tips and tricks, man.

  • What FX to use for vocals?

  • @tehillahband Well that's a broad question. For me, I'm not really into a ton of effects on my vocals but my general choices are a good reverb and\or delay with a good amount of compression or limiter.

  • Wow Thanks for taking time out to delete the emptiness in those wave files. I had a problem of drop outs and couldn't figure out why

  • Well my keyboard don't have a delete button and there's always first for everything

Anyway thanks for the heads on on the customize Keystroke command didn't think about that.

  • @MrTwostone No problem. The right click delete also works pretty fast also.

  • so if your PC don't have a delete button like mine doesn't hows one go about doing this type of apllication?

  • @MrTwostone Well, I have never seen a PC keyboard with no delete button but you have 2 options...

    1. after highlighting the section just right click and choose "delete"

    2. go into the Keyboard shortcuts menu in Studio One and customize a key for deleting.

    Should be pretty simple.

  • @themuzic

Da! why didn't I think about adding a customized key for deleting

Thanks a million Johnny. Really enjoy your S1 video very informitive for us new S1 users.

  • @themuzic

Forgot about customizing the keystroke commands thanks a million for the heads up.

  • Learned a lot from this! Did you ever do the mix video? Couldn't find it. Would looooove to see that too! :-) Cheers!

  • @andynista I wish! I lost it in a hard drive crash some months ago. Haven't had time to redo it unfortunately. Alot of good videos were lost that day. The restore backup failed as well. It was a bad day for sure.

  • @themuzic Oh no! A bad day for all of us! That really is horrible, man. Well, thanks anyway. If you ever get around to do a similar video with some other song, that would be great. That said, the ones you have are truly awesome! :-)

  • It's great that we can watch you setting up this mix in real time. I just learnt a bunch of stuff about Studio One work flow that I wouldn't have known where to look up or what to be looking for - cool!

    Thanks again Johnny.

  • @just4achuckle Not a problem! Should be doing the mix right after the holidays but thanx for watching. Sorry for some of the volume issues in this vid. I had some mic issues.
