  • Welch eine Frechheit, solchen Dilettantismus neben die Leistungen guter Interperten zu stellen!

Auch wenn ich es noch so sehr achte, wenn Laien sich bemüßigen, solche Werke zu lernen ...

  • Please could you translate this into English if you want me to know what you are saying. Thanks.

  • Wow! That's the way I think this should be interpreted! Loved the look and the sound.... and the harmonic. I don't know many people who can do that any more. Congratulations... you can teach teach me any time you like!!!

  • Hi - it's nice to get appreciation from someone who knows how to appreciate, and even knows what they are talking about. I assume you have a very good pair of speakers?

  • I stumbled across this video because I'm preparing this piece for a voice lesson. I found it to be difficult to hear the singing at all. It is a very poor recording and provides me no assistance whatsoever at learning this piece. Also, why would one want to sing to a MIDI of this work? It is a moving, passionate piece and having to keep time to a MIDI seems to defeat the purpose of singing it. I think singer has a pleasing voice but....it's really disconcerting to watch.

  • I think you should invest in a good pair of speakers, and you may be lucky and have an accompanist at your beck and call. If you found a great recording you'd still have to keep time to it!

  • I understand now and wish you and the singer much success. This song is a favorite and close to my heart. 

  • See the video of Yoshikazu Mera - Ombra mai fu

This above video is Beautiful. It has song and movement choreographed to the utmost artistic enjoyment. The singer in the video you posted apparently is not aware of artistic presentation. She seems unprepared and distracted. Suggest learn choreography and try again. 

  • Sorry for the delay. I will look at the one you suggest. In the meantime I comment as follows: This singer does not have the means to prepare a professional interpretation for viewers, nor was that her intention. This is a practice to midi accompaniment and not a performance. Her intention is not to impress the critics, but to share something.

  • :( disgrace

  • Wow, you're slightly more than monosyllabic - someone who can write words of 2 syllables. At your age you should know better than to make such a pointless comment without explanation.

  • Yes, I could even say it's a disgrace that you should make such a disgraceful comment

  • Your frankness is welcome, thank you. My apologies, I will refrain from making negative comments on others work in the future as I realize, yet had forgotten not all of us like frankness. I am a visual artist and actually like honest comments on my work as that is how I push myself to improve. I am a life-long learner.

Thank you for your much welcome contribution to my learning. :)

  • A better response, thanks. But you still haven't explained why you think this is disgraceful? If you don't then I don't think your opinion is valid in any way at all. To my mind 'frankness' doesn't come into it.

  • Thank you, Kea. That was quite touching.

  • Thank you very much for letting me know. I'd be grateful if you haven't already if you could click on the rating, as it looks as if not many people like it!

  • I sang this a few weeks ago at a recital...its really a beautiful aria

  • très émouvant

  • C'est dommage que c'est tout court.. je l'adOre. Cette chanson me fait pleurer.
