She started "feeling safe" just from seeing the thing. How ridiculous that is when we know how easily teasers can fail, if one of the prongs doesn't attaches to the bad guy, if the bad guy is wearing thick clothing, if you miss, if so many things. It's really a feel-good measure, and so irresponsible to do that instead of getting proper training and getting a more effective weapon.

NO TASERS for law enforcement. Only officers with advanced training and experience should be allowed to carry firearms. This will force law enforcement to develope their communication skills and their interactions with the public. It will stop them from working from an ego and power hungry position. They will have to work on a much different level if they do not have tasers and immediate access to firearms. They would be less bullying and it would also help their public image.
