@Bomber1234WusHere Average US American drinks about 2000 gallons of Coke in a lifetime (I'm estimating 85 years with starting drinking at age 5) according to the Coca-Cola Company (I think they would know). Assuming it takes you minute to drink a can of Coke (most people take longer) that's over 500 hours of Coke on your teeth.

I'm not saying that this will do anything to your teeth (I have no evidence), I'm just saying you're ignorant.

It probably wouldnt dissolve completely after 24 hrs, but if you left it for long enough it would definitely disintergrate.

Cola contains all kinds of acids and not only that plaque converts the sugars we eat into acid to attack the enamel. People may as well be drinking hydrochloric acid.

What a downright moronic statement (for one plaque is a biofilm, it's found on the teeth, not in cola don't blame cola because you don't brush). Plus fruit juices are probably more acidic than cola is. Not to mention even if it was as destructive as you say it is saliva and regular brushing would still pretty much negate any effect.

Coke is possibly one of the highest acid containing soda drinks out there. Soda is the enemy of teeth. Plaque, a bacteria that forms within your mouth on your teeth, tongue, takes sugar/starch and uses it to create acid on your teeth. The acid eats through the tooth layer known as the enamel over time, weaking and causing decay over time. Left an enviroment as acidic as coke for an extended period of time would undoubtly destroy it utterly.

Even if this myth were true, it still doesn't really mean anything because the test doesn't accurately recreate conditions of cola ingestion. Most people don't hold a mouthful of cola without swallowing for days. It's like testing to see if lotion makes your skin soft by sticking your hand in a container of it and keeping it there for days.

i did this for a science project 10 years ago. Pieces of the tooth would break off and dissolve, after one week, it was HALF gone, but not completely. I used teeth from the dentist, I have no idea if a LIVE tooth would make any difference.

The answer is no it will not. The acid in the soda will slowly enrode the tooths enamel over time but within 24 hours is a flat out mith.
