I've got footage of their set I filmed nearly ten yrs ago w/High on Fire. Guy (The Obsessed) was their bassist then. Gotta find a way to upload it. Friendly, down to earthy folks...and most definitely not 'straight edge' types lol (thank christ!) Doom/stoner is rooted in pot, LSD, theology, and of course, big heap doses of early Black Sabbath. You needn't come from that background in order to enjoy it, but it seems to ring true for most of us born in the 60s/70s who fly that particular flag.

It's drop D tuning. Most, if not all Acid King songs are in drop D. Watch Lori play the lowest chords, open and the 2nd fret.
