I like the Umbrella Academy comic books. I also enjoy the music of My Chemical Romance of which Gerard Way is the singer. This is unrelated to the band however. His skill as a visual artist and story writer have nothing to do with the band. Besides, the story is far too intricate and in depth to be seen as a similarity to the stories told in his songs. I'm kind of sick of all the twelve year old girls saying "OMG Gerard is so hot!" he is in his thirties and is married!

I love MCR and i love these comic's, i'm a bit gutted Mr Way did not draw it himself as i love his artwork he is super talented, but being a great singer, lyricist, father and husband must take up a lot of time and Mr Gabriel Ba's work is amazing! G's talents go FAR beond music!!" I have always been a comic book fan, but these are BY FAR the best comics I have read! I think the storyline is great! There are a lot of comics about superheros that work in teams whether its brother and sister, or the Justice League! But they make it different!!

@neostg I LOVE My Chemical Romance! But I have a seperate love for The Umbrella Acadamy! I wanted the comics because Gerard wrote them, but after I started to read them, I was like "Holyy shit! G's talents go FAR beond music!!" I have always been a comic book fan, but these are BY FAR the best comics I have read! I think the storyline is great! There are a lot of comics about superheros that work in teams whether its brother and sister, or the Justice League! But they make it different!!

I just ordered 1-6 so hopefully they come soon. I'm a big Umbrella Academy Fan thanks to looking at youtube <3!! I also am a big fan of MCR, but I don't think they should mix together. With comics think of Gerard as just another writer and with MCR think of him as a kick ass singer.
