  • @wazzalittle i was there to mate. they were fucking awesome. i have read rumors that they will tour Australia next year and that there will be a new album. hope this is true. would love to see them again because they were worth every cent i spent to go and see them and that much more

  • Flash back........I saw the Chisel at Manly Vale Hotel (Bryants) plenty of times...and they absolutely rocked.....30 years on and feels like just yesterday...amazing !!

Chisel were the hardest working band i have ever seen. i saw them many times over the years and im so glad i did. they never disappointed, just got on with it and did an amazing job. (think im one of the heads in the front of the crowd on Swingshift's cover) great stuff.

  • @ chiselguy: The video is from a gig at Manly Vale (April 12th 1980) and the majority (all but 3 songs) of Swingshift was recorded at the Capitol Theatre (Aug 30th 1980).

    still sends a chill down the spine.

  • I agree- saw this on Donnie Sutherland's "Sounds" one Saturday morning, 25 years ago as a teenaged kid. Fuckin' awesome then- fuckin' awesome now!
