USE VGA CABLE if you're on a TV and turn off ANYTHING that enhances images with Yes/No or High/Med/Low option.

i had a 26" samsung led tv and tried to game on it. the input lag blurring effect was horrible and i couldn't play fast paced games like call of duty on it. the chips in smaller led and lcd tvs can't keep up with 60fps on a game. i tried game mode and that didn't work. for the best gaming use a tube tv. or a plasma, but beware of burning in images on plasma tv's

I am having a lot of problems with lag also and so far have not found a way to fix it =( I've tried all kinds of cables both HDMI and Component, and have messed with settings extensively. I am probably going to contact an expert and see what they have to say, since I haven't been able to find any helpful tips via the Internet

I had the same tv and though it did help there was still significant lag which made my gaming experience unbearable. I use a crt tv and I always have the highest kd ratio in my games.I use an hdtv and I have the lowest.

This Phenomenon is known as Inputlag.

CRT TV / Monitors have 0ms,

the golden mean for HDTVs is 30ms.

In Game mode, the Input lag is low,

than outside of game mode.

At Panasonic Plasmas but it is

same in each Picture Mode.

@DickerKater82 I know and the crazy thing is that people are not complaining enough to ps3. The only solutions I found is to use a CRT television which is bad because it it hard to read the text in modern games and or a PC monitor that is not HD using a VGA to RGB convertor.The technology is flawed and ps3 and xbox need to figure something out perhaps even coming out with there own LCD TV's

There are also good gamer HDTVs. The only problem is every man feels the input lag on a different kind. The rich 30ms the other (and I belong to) needs a HDTV with 16ms.

 My SONY46EX402 has 10ms and is almost on par with a CRT.

i had to disable the 120 htz feature it had... it was creating extra frames thus delay.. after that i bought a better hd cable and now i'm running great..

that has nothing to do with frames per second frames per second is very self explanatory but u seem not to get it right now the best frame per second from a lcd is 240 which is crap compared to crt but frames per second have nothing to do with lag on a tv lag on a tv comes from extra processing on the image which takes longer for it to show and this causes major delay on all video games not to mention lcds look like shit when there not in hd

@bbbeenn32 Hey sorry I just saw your comment. And this depends on the specs... Mine has a 120 Hz refresh rate. It cost a little extra but is well worth it if your worried about motion blur. So plasma or LCD?? LCD if you can afford the extra cash for a 120 Hz or higher. Plasmas normally come with about 600 Hz which is great but... they have so many flaws such as burn in. So LCD. Last longer better color saturation and a lot sharper.
