  • patton could have written such a dark bit about 911 and twitter!...im a bad person haha

  • It's kind of sad to see republicans in the comments, just desperately trying to argue that the left wing is worse than the right wing, especially when it comes to noise and smear campaigns.

It's like grasping at straws, I'm sorry, but whatever bullshit the left puts out, there is ten times that amount coming out of the right, and you probably eat it up with a spoon.

  • @hempartist420

Gee, you think so? There's this new network you should check out called MSNBC. You'd be surprised.

  • I like the left-wing smear machine:

How did the Klu Klux Klan get to their rallies?

    In cars

And what does Mitt Romney drive?

    Coincidence?

    I think not!

  • Right Wing noise machine based on accusation vs Left Wing Noise Machine:Herman Cain accused but never proven of sexual misconduct. Victim of the Left. Anthony Wiener, accused and PROVEN by the Right to be guilty of sexual misconduct.

  • @mattcruise

Stop making sense or asking for consistency please. You are making my head hurt, sir.

  • Hey Oswalt - Let's see these left wing facts of which speak of.

  • You get the impression Oswalt is the smartest guy in the room here by quite a high margin, although like most people he equates his particular political bias with being the "reasonable" stance, and his opponents as "emotional" and thus unreasonable.

Personally, I'm with John Keats, who said, "The only means of strengthening one's intellect is to make one's mind up about nothing."

  • Pinheads like Oswalt actually think there is a differenece between "right wing" and "left wing"....there isn't. They both want to same thing-complete control of your lives, your money, and your minds. Wake the fuck up people, taking sides in this kind of argument only perpetuates the status quo.

  • @pretorious700 Just because they have the same goal does not mean there are not different. Obviously they have to be different to create such controversy amongst the public, in fact being divisive is how their whole game works.

  • He doesnt sound as if he is from Virginia..

  • It's Spence!!!

  • The sun goes up. The sun goes down. You can't explain it.

    Ha ha ha

  • However right-wingers want to portray themselves, they are not the party of God, but the party of "Oh, my God!"

  • The right wing noise machine plays into and perpetuates small minded ignorance.

  • @CaptainPillowMusic No more so than the libs do. Herman Cain is being subjected to far worse than Obama ever was with respect to racism. Uninformed goof.

  • @MrGrevy Obama has faced assassination attempts for being black, when has Herman Cain been subject to this? Or are you just talking out of your ass?

  • @UncleFred34 All presidents face assassination threats. Your point is moot. Herman Cain would have the same thing happen if he were elected president. Maybe critical thinking isn't your strong suit?

  • @MrGrevy You said that "Herman Cain is being subjected to far worse than Obama ever was with respect to racism". This would imply that Herman Cain is subject to worse discrimination already. If Cain has not been subject to as many assassination attempts that are motivated by white supremacist ideology as Obama has, that would be an indicator that your point is invalid. Maybe thinking in general isn't your strong suit?

  • @UncleFred34 I said "with respect to racism" you silly black moron. Also, please provide evidence of any attempts on Obama's life by "white supremacists".

  • @MrGrevy Haha, wow. Anyway, you can find them by going to wikipedia and searching 'Barack Obama assassination threats'. The assassination scares in Denver and Tennessee are a couple prominent examples. Not that that would sway you, since you appear to be a racist and it takes one to not know one. You seem to be under the impression that I'm black, which must mean that I'm doing a good job.

  • Bill Simmons did not get Patton's celebrities react to 9/11 on Twitter concept at all. Went way over his head....

  • Thank you for your insights on twitter Mr. Oswalt. And that is why I don't tweet! Twitter is like some huge grape vine that requires a lot of effort to "solve the mystery". Yes, yes. I know that twitter has it's place and it had a lot to do with the Arab uprising. But as far as quickly getting the facts, noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Hey Patton, did you really make out with Janeane G.

  • I've realized that the "right wing" really has no consistent philosophy, they are basically just reactionaries. It doesn't matter what the "left wing" is for, the "right wing" will be militantly against it. They've basically become trolls.

I think that this is because emotionally stunted people tend to ally with the right wing (emotional conservatism), and emotionally mature people tend towards the leftism, (empathetic liberalism).

But, really, it's a false dichotomy.

  • I was going to post here and criticize the "nuh-uh"/"yuh-huh" conversation here, but then I realized it's much more civil and reasoned than most of the stuff I've ever seen on Youtube.

  • Neither noise machine is based on fact.

  • @AmericanBadass44 one is more based on facts than the other...
