500$, that's the actual price of a Mac Mini DESKTOP COMPUTER (price from the apple store). And maybe Mac costs more, but you get better quality. If you're some gamer, don't bother arguing. But if you are a student or someone who relies heavily on computers for work and need a piece that is easy to use and effective, you'll always go for mac.

The Control-Alt-Delete comic is actually fairly accurate (its an older one) in that people don't exploit it because they don't care. The reason for that is simple. People say macs are hard to open (which is a fact) so its hard to change hardware (BUT POSSIBLE unlike what people say. I know it because I have done it), but on the other hand, it has the priceless advantage of leaving VERY few areas for dust and such to accumulate in your computer, so your hardware stays cleaner and in much better shape, its for this reason that most macbooks will last longer than most laptops. As I said, this has its cons and pros

That is wrong in SO many ways I can't even Point them all out.

1. MOST people who own macs do some type of editing/producing. And Macs are VERY good for that, miles ahead of PC's.

2. 4.0GHz Processors don't exist, and even if they did, you can't measure a processor by the GHz anymore. You could have a 2.4GHz Intel i3 and i could have a 1.73GHz Intel i7, and mine would run lightyears faster than yours.

3. I ctrl-alt-del CONSTANTLY on my dell. Never once on my Macbook.

Let me try to explain it to you: i3 processors are dual core (4 threads) without turbo. i7 processors have 2-4 cores (4-8 threads) and use turbo boost. Please don't talk when you have no idea what you're talking about.

I also didn't claim to be an expert on processors either. I simply stated that measuring a processor by GHz is no longer sufficient.

I ALSO didn't say Macs were EXCLUSIVELY for editing, just said alot of people use them for it, because the programs written for Mac for editing are much crisper and flow better than the PC ones. Unless you shell out thousands of buck for Adobe.
