was she ever takin to the vet or anything how come she died ? my concern is that i have a male cat almost a year old ... when he was a kitten his mom jumped onto a piece of ply wood that was blocking the door so the kittens wouldnt go wandering around the house and it fell on him his name is zeke he is very small dont weigh more then 2pounds very anti social but if i wake up at 4 am he will come to me at the couch and be petted or play with my finger i worry that there is something wrong
@JmeJme92 with him and will be taking him to the vet when i have the money he doesnt like to come out of his hidding places very much and he has alot of dandriff i brush him when he lets me . i didnt know he had anything wrong with him till a week after i got him i noticed blood in his ears and the owner of the mother cat someone i personaly knew told me the story after i found blood in his ears

Ok, I watched the end, and Dotz lived for 407 days, so a year and a month or two. Did she pass because of a condition regarding her smallness? I suppose it happens where kittens can be a "runt" like a dog or pig. Just don't hear about it often. As a cat lover, and our female tabby passing after 18 years, this video here left me with water eyes. Thanks for posting. Looks like you take great care of your other kitties there, so that's great to see.

@DeathGrimRIpper My mom's cat, Patches, which I took in after my mom died of cancer because my stepfather wanted to euthanize her, lived until she was 15. Patches died last year of heart failure. My Grandmom believes that my mom's spirit stayed with Patches so that she could look out for me during hard times and that's why Patches lived for so long. She is buried in a makeshift grave in my Grandmother's backyard with a headstone that says, "My Mom and Patches, reunited at last."

1:20 we have a cat that's about that size now too and she's full grown, she's already over a year old. but why would a mother cat ignore one of her babies for being small? :( dayum nature can be cruel.
I had a kitten like this. He was small sized and didn't have much muscle definition. But it was our first time buying a kitten and we didn't know what to look for. We took him to the vet and got him his usual jabs and the vet saw nothing wrong. A week before we were due to go back for his second lot of jabs we came home and found him collapsed. We took him straight to the emergency vets as it was a Sunday and we had to put him to sleep. The vet said he had congenital liver problems. We miss him.
I'm not sure she was blind because at the beginning of the video, she seemed to be looking at something. My best guess is that she had a neurological disorder of some sort. The fact that the mother was pushing her out of the litter makes me believe that the mother could sense something was wrong with her and didn't see a point in taking care of her. It's a hard fact of life, but cats don't take care of a sick kitten.

Dotz was indeed a cute cat. Shame on everyone here trying to make you feel bad for your cats death! Cats die. And generally, if the mother cat doesnt want anything to do with a kitten, there is something she knows which we dont.
Nature can be cruel, but thats the way things are.

1:20 we have a cat that's about that size now too and she's full grown, she's already over a year old. but why would a mother cat ignore one of her babies for being small? :( dayum nature can be cruel.

I had a kitten like this. He was small sized and didn't have much muscle definition. But it was our first time buying a kitten and we didn't know what to look for. We took him to the vet and got him his usual jabs and the vet saw nothing wrong. A week before we were due to go back for his second lot of jabs we came home and found him collapsed. We took him straight to the emergency vets as it was a Sunday and we had to put him to sleep. The vet said he had congenital liver problems. We miss him.

I'm not sure she was blind because at the beginning of the video, she seemed to be looking at something. My best guess is that she had a neurological disorder of some sort. The fact that the mother was pushing her out of the litter makes me believe that the mother could sense something was wrong with her and didn't see a point in taking care of her. It's a hard fact of life, but cats don't take care of a sick kitten.

its sad and all but they treat the death of the animal like it is an actual Human baby. a gravestone. 'with God'. come on. i know a family whose baby boy died before he was even two. they knew he was dying so they treated every moment of his life like it was his last. we love you, jackky! );

@cxlcitymaster so only babies and people should be seen as important? they gave the cat a grave and put with God on it because they were clearly attached to it, who ever said people couldn't love animals? they're living things too..oh yeah and making a vid of your pet and starving people in Kenya are kind of irrelevant.

The only thing that still frustrates me is the whole posting a video about the animal, because they could mourn the loss of their animal privately, rather than sharing its death with the world. the power to move its weak becasue there is no enough calcium and by the way mothers milk have special ingredients in it humans can never give so its impossible u will give her care if her mother didnt and her not fear of water well about that the mother cat sometimes i think tells her kittens about how water is scary and should be avoided but kittens which never gone big to see their mother most of the cases they love each thing normal cat hates so peace :D!
