@JAGUSN Troy HS NJROTC was overall best in the nation in 2009 not just drill. It also has gotten 1st in Area 11 championships four years in a row and this year came in second and NJROTC Nationals in Pensacola, Florida. It just went to Orienteering Nationals for the first time this year and one cadet took home a second place medal. And although we did not go to Marksmanship Nationals this year, we have been there before.

@MDJFilms yes, many schools have Commanding Officers with the rank of c/CPT but your unit must have at least 250 cadets and be a regiment.

Best in the nation? Maybe in drill. But one you have to take in to account all branches unless you put Navy. AND you can not forget about Orienteering, Rifle, and Brain Brawl. Those are part of being a complete unit. And Union Grove High won Orienteering, took second at Rifle, and 12 at drill (which was good considering it was coming from sixth in the area two years ago). You got us in drill but I have never heard you guys in orienteering and idk about rifle...
