The cannon is not two parts, but by the end it is actually upwards of 30 voice tracks layered on top of one another. Ingrid stated in an interview that she recorded this in a basement to get the echoey sound, and had fun layering the voices. =) Just a tidbit.

TRY THIS!!! Open up 3 windows and load "The Chain", then play them at the same time only with a 1 to 2 second interval. It's almost overwhelming. Its like your soul is being torn apart by winds and then the beauty of it all is almost tangible...

I like what you did here. "So be healed," "soapy heels," whatever. It's an easy mistake to make.

Another easy to make mistake is trying to represent a 3 part cannon in two parts. You have Ingrid's part spot-on as your "Part 1," but your "Part 2" keeps switching between the two backup singers. Parts 2 & 3 individually are much simpler than what you document here.

Still, it was a great idea to put this together and it is quite cleanly executed if you look past the inaccuracies.

I'm pretty sure the part at the end is just 3 people singing the same verse but one line after the other, if that makes sense? So person 1 starts on bar 1, person 2 bar 2, person 3 bar 3. That's why they all seem like they're repeating lines, because someone else repeats the line after them. I'm pretty sure it's 3, not 2, could be wrong though.
