Oh wow! Is it really $319? I guess the $42 ones on EBay are a great deal. Even if they are lesser quality, they claim to do the job of converting HDMI to Composite (Red White Yellow).

@KissofDawn2012 Those devices would not really be the same. The HD520 is a composite to HDMI converter, not an HDMI to composite converter. The nature of composite and HDMI means you can't have a converter that can go both directions.

It should also be pointed out that as a result of HDCP copy protection layers, you can't really do an HDMI to Composite conversion like you describe in the home. It's technically possible, but requires broadcast level equipment and licenses to do legally.
