I really loved Jason's free spirit and of all his renditions, "ravelling" was always my favorite. In the live performance he actually spelled the words in a beautiful way. Did the judges ever listen to this man's studio versions??? Oh my God, this guy has the purest voice I have ever heard. I am biting at the bit the buy his first CD. I cannot get enough of him. His style is definitley not meant for the AI mold. He is too unique. Ai expects their contestants to be "versitile". In the real world of music an artist "is" his style. You would never hear Bruce Springstein doing an Andrew Lloyd Webber song. Jason was too good for them, I am glad he is free.
