yeahh i have 2 astras, an r reg mk 3 astra 1.6, 166000 miles on the original engine, and a 60 plate astra vxr arctic for the weekends, 2 great reliable cars, no need for a fire extinguisher in the car,
i feel for you if your a vw owner, i know just how bad they are, i work in a vw/audi specialist, you dont need to tell me about it bud.
if your looking for a decent reliable car thats decent looking buy an astra by all means :)
vw are a great company at least through all the depresion they havent suffered unlike hmmm all other car makers its chavs and scallys that steal peoples pride and joys and set them on fire like this that is the reason for alot of these vids not all before you moaning pricks start but most and if you are a chav hoody or whatever you muppets call yourself the greatest disrespect to you all please go and rot in a sewer you deserve nothing more
idk i haven't seen that many fords in my day so far catch on fire not that im a fan of ford but seeing from this and also hearing how VW always break we'll, yea lets not start getting into details.
Right yeah VW are the best cause they have a bad habit of catching fire right? I have lost count on how many video's I have found on here that are VW and fire related, but yeah, they are the best aren't they. >.>
To those of you slagging these off - how many Fords to you see catching fire to every one Volkswagen.......LOADS, so bear that in mind befrore you start jawflapping
Ignition switch on the back of the barrel melts, common fault, add to this high amp cables and bob's yer uncle,,, heat against combustible material, not good

It's an interior fire, which means it was probably started deliberately.

There's also more of them ... the more there are, the more are likely to burn. So, Toyotas can't burn ?

Any car can catch fire. For any reason. Some models of car have a bigger habit than others.
How many jap cars have you heard of that have flown a fire due to an electrical fault? I bet it isn't many at all.

My Vento went on fire 8 years ago. I've since met 4 other people who had the same 'experience' with VW.
Backfirebob and Mickeymoose are spot on. Overrated shit. They can't even make back lights that work properly.

Yes it was LFB, probably New Malden or around Kingston upon Thames. Not sure of date as I uploaded this sometime after the event.
