I love this song and Billy does an outstanding job singing it. Billy has one of the most beautiful voices I have ever heard. So much innocence comes through his songs. It's so refreshing to hear a young person singing about God.
I remember seeing this on Larry King live when he first sang this back in November 2001, it was absolutely amazing!!! One of my favorites!!! I saw him a few months later in Reno, NV, and he sang it there too, and God's Alive and Well was just fantastic there too!!! :) Thanks for uploading!!! Wish the interview was here too, but at least it's the performance.

Billy was suposed to do a different song that day on Larry King. This was soon after the events of 9/11/2001. Billy decided that he wanted to do a song of hope and inspiration instead. This is the one he chose to do.
I knew someone in his management company, so when I was in Nashville a few days later, I asked why he changed the scheduled song to this one. That is the answer I was given.

Check out his bio and it shows he was born in 1988, so in 2008 he IS 20 years old. Yes his birthday is May 24. He was 18 when the video was made in 2006 though.
