@sfgsdfwr It was available before they turned it on now at 3.5TeV power, it might be possible to visit again in 2013 as I think that they turn it off during a year to prepare to turn it back on with twice the power, putting all of 7TeV through it.
@Charbax Ah I see, thanks! That's too bad, I was hoping to see the ATLAS in person when I go this coming January but I doubt I'll be able to see anything other than the visitor centre.
they didn't go to the cms! Still, one of the best youtubes I've seen giving perhaps the best sense of scale of the Atlas detector.
