  • 6:15 very interesting. "your humanity diminishes and you become something.."

  • He was so close to cracking up when the gay guy asked him a question. If i was in that position i would have pissed myself laughing

  • America has so many problems that we don't recognize. Greed has become a huge problem. Thankfully it is finally being openly talked about(occupy wall street), but also our obsession with celebrity is out of control.

  • Not one word about the 100 ft T-REX in the room!

  • Not one word about the 100ft T-REX in the room!

  • Dave: "im trying not to curse anymore"

    Lipton: "Really?"

Dave: "No im just F*****G with you"

  • what did that girl ask

  • Dave Chappelle has a lot of wisdom and some real shit to say.

  • thanks for the ups :)

  • One of the kind of comedian!

  • You can totally tell he wants to say so much more about "hollywood" he looks like hes afraid to say it though. Really smart guy.

  • Wow I really didn't expect to watch this whole thing, but I did and am glad I did. I have a lot of respect for him because he was so honest.

  • He would be an amazing teacher.

  • People will allways love you man...

  • no part 10? it seems like an abrupt ending

  • @billytamer i agree

  • He's a lot like angelina jolie. I think they would get along.

  • I've watched Mr. Lipton interview celebrity, after celebrity, some of my favorites have sat right on that stage.

But NONE of them have been as compelling, candid and open as Dave Chappelle.

If I were to ever meet him, I would consider it an honor.

  • ^thats why

  • @akalaina like you been there to account for it lol

  • he said that hollywood(media in general) is very tightly managed and controlled... and it should change and be fair for black people and fair to the american population in general... the government controls us very well and because they couldn't get their way with Dave is why Dave dropped out of the mainstream... he cant try to fight them, i wouldn't be surprised if the man dies young or his life somehow turns extremely negative... this is the world we live in today smh...hes a legend!!

  • Greatest Country in the World by default!!! WELL SAID!!!!

  • welp just watched all of the videos. inspiring man. FUCK!

  • best show in the world

  • Intelligent guy, inspirational and i hate using this phrase but i feel like it's the only way to describe it...he keeps it REAL to the fullest. Most people would've done whatever for the type of money that was within his grasp. He's just honest about the way he is and wants to live. I really respect that, and that's what makes this guy a legend in his genre already

  • @JamalGunzz "he keeps it real". lmao didnt he have a skit about that.

  • @moneyfive "When Keepin' it Real Goes Wrong"

  • Washington Dave. Chappelle.

  • @iamkilroy i didn't get that joke...

  • @NaheemAdio It's from "School House Rock" about how a bill becomes a law.

  • Damn that black chick who asked a question was so fucking ghetto! Big ups to Mr. Dave Chappelle. This guy is totally brilliant and incredibly laid back.

  • I KNOW THIS IS COMPLETELY WEIRD AND THE ONLY REASON WHY I AM ASKING THIS IS BECAUSE I READ THE ARTICLE EARLIER TODAY.. IS THAT AMANDA KNOX AT 2:24? THE U.S. CITIZEN WHO WAS ACCUSED FOR MURDER.

  • dave is a genius (period). when he was talking abou tthe institutionalization of racism that was on e of hte most real things i have heard in a long time... he is a wise, observant person and i think thats something many people admire about dave. its just real... thank you dave chappelle for the laughs!

  • His talent is missing so badly in Hollywood....

  • HANDS DOWN my favorite 'Inside the Actors Studio.' Mr. Chappelle is such an intelligent man with an interesting and realistic view of the world. Great comedian, Great guy. I wish him the best of luck.

  • @josenetwork Damn.... plz don't say things like that, don't get too ahead of yourself lol

  • @kadirit Its got nothing to do with getting ahead of myself... I just admire the guy that much. Hes been my role mode (i know its crazy haha) since i was a kid. I think of him as the same way i think of family because of how much respect i have for him. To me hes like the Micheal Jackson of comedy to this generation. And you've seen how crazy people are about MJ lol

  • @josenetwork i cried when this finished!!! haha

  • More Money More Problems...

  • Dave: Fuck... yeah, I say that a lot... Fuck.... but I'm trying not to curse anymore.

    James: Are you really?

Dave: Nah, I'm just fuckin' wit you.

    LOL Gotta love Dave.

  • Oh yeah, BUGS BUNNY'S AWESOME TOO!!!

  • what did he say he wanted God to say to him at the pearly gates? Can't catch it man.

  • After watching this video, alot of things came into my mind about racism and the nation as a whole and I actually put alot of these things into perspective. This interview may not be classified as "educational" but I learned alot about myself and how the world works sometimes. Dave Chappelle is a very smart man who didn't succumb to the idea of being richer. He stayed true to himself and his beliefs and that's what makes him special and beloved. Probably the realest comedian of all time

  • I can really identify with the genius in him when he admits the genius in Mel Blanc.....

  • @pseudosaur I know that's right. MEL BLANC WAS AND IS THE MAN OF CARTOON VOICES!!!!

  • the black dude really felt it when he said the fugees reunited

  • "Figure out who you are and be that, for better or worse." -Chapelle

  • Thank you for the upload...Very interesting man.

  • Great upload. Thank you very much.

  • Why was there a louder chuckle when he said he hated the sound of kids crying? It wasn't that funny. Shouldn't even be a chuckle.

  • @1NameGoesHere: Because it's, A, a bad sound, and B, it's obnoxious as hell. It's a double whammy.

  • BY DEFAULT WE ARENT THE GREATEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD, by our own agendas and lies, DAVE DAVE

  • "No am just fucking with you" classic

  • aw no...is this the last part?

  • @akuma4u "congratulations Bill, you're a law..."

  • @TheMadSlapper WTF does that mean?

  • I like that he does realize that its a 'tremendous responsibility' having that show

    -A white guy.

  • I'm from England, this is the first episode of Inside the Actors Studio I've seen. I'm guessing it was a bit different to regular episodes?

  • 8.30 man that dude was gay

  • @rogerwilsonwilson6 It's funny how his response is very appropriate for your comment.

  • @rogerwilsonwilson6 why does it matter what he was? people can live the way they want. as long as it doesnt interfere with your well being?

  • He did a lebron and took his talents to Africa lol

  • I like that Dave is smart but not a dick about it like most other comedians

  • "things like racism are institutionalized, it's systemic. you might not know any biggots, well i dont hate black people so i'm not a racist, but you benefit from racism just by the merit of the color of your skin"....................... very profound and it articulates a lot of what's going on.

  • Man he's smart!! Love him to bits!

  • I think Dave is a hell of an inspiration, he kept it real!

  • Thank you taequeen0611 for posting these segments. You are a wonderful person!

  • That was amazing, I appreciate the upload!

  • Dave Chappelle and Jon stewart are 2 me the best entertainers in the world.

  • third time I saw this show in its entirety. Awesome every time. Richard Pryor is funny. To this day, his standup is pretty amazing. But Dave really is something else.

The crowd loves him. I mean they really love him. It's not respect or awe, which is there. But it's just pure love for the guy. It's beautiful.

  • @thefastshuffle i totally get what u meen if u ever bored or something check out the episode when he interviews lipton and check out the beggining when he gets introduced to the crowd . it is just amazing and beautiful the way they react to his presance and i dont blame them , Dave is an extrodinary man

  • Dave Chappelle for president!!

  • " congratulations bill, you're a law." hahahahah

  • hes right about the money thing. i mean, i would HATE to win $100 million in the lottery, because the amount of people comming out of the woodwork pretending to be your friends, and backstabbing etc. you just wouldnt know who your real friends are anymore and you might be sitting on a large amount of money but your lonely like hell. money isnt the root of all evils, its the love of money that is.....

  • @Chuckie2k7 Wondering about the same thing...

  • 0:17 - Holy shit it's Corey!!!

  • Chapelle is BOSS.

  • "Congratulations BILL you're a LAW".

  • I'm white. You cannot blame black people for any of their racism. that would be like blaming palestinians for their anti-semitism.. please don't kill my family lool

  • Strongly agree with Duarteontheline I love Dave for his comedy and the guy he is!!!!

  • this guy is a fuckin' genius!

  • what did he say @ 4:30 to the heaven question?? i heard: congratulations bill, u'r a law?? i don't get it..

  • @shortlimb1 there is an educational series called "School house rock" and they sing songs about different things in history and so on and many school show them to children. Anyway, one is called "How a bill becomes a law" and this 'BILL' talks about how it will be a law and the process. At the end a congressman comes up to him and says "He signed you Bill, now you're a law!" (essentially the same thing Dave said).

  • @shortlimb1 (cont.) if you are interested type in the search "Schoolhouse rock how a bill becomes a law"

  • @saqua608 yeah i remember those ABC channel saturday morning cartoons man dave reach back in my past with that joke.....hilarious!

  • wait so what did the company wanted for dave to drop that 50 million? i still dont quite understand

  • @tuber52 His Soul plain and simple.

  • @joeymo28 Yeah,in other words he completed the transition. It was a throwback reference to the 1970s School House Rock cartoon.

  • @joeymo28 Yeah,in other words he completed the transition. It was a throwback reference to the 1970s School House Rock cartoon.

  • TEX AVERY AND PRESTON BLAIR!!! best duo of animators EVER!! R.I.P.

  • i've watched all of these in a day, and I think it might be one of the most inciteful interviews I've seen thus far. Its just dope to see somebody at his stature wanting WILLINGLY to educate younger people. Thats amazing and I love his comment about America being a great country by default.

  • today i saw all the videos..and i must say,he looks really cool and down to earth...he has a great perspective on life.and mostly he is not a show off like many others.it´s kinda sad to know that the industry just breaks a lot of good people, but i think he handled it perfectly.i have the most respect for him,and wish the guy all the best!!

  • He took each of their questions, and used them as an opportunity to educate....rather than just answer.

There is alot you can learn from watching this.....im glad i took the time to

  • I love how when Dave says his biggest turn on is a woman with nice titties and ass, Lipton says that Dave has shown more honesty per square inch than 12 years worth of guests. He says that because everytime he's asked his guests what turns them on, they always answer some overly sophisticated bs just to sound politically correct while Dave went straight to the obvious and true answer.

  • 0:43 the necessary black crowd member approval

  • @colenbrak LOL!!! I was thinking the same thing!

  • @MrSuperCool83 no clapping necessary... nothing is more supporting than a black mans nod.

  • "This is the greatest country in the world by default"

Some of the smartest people in the world are labeled crazy

  • i dont get what he said to god . . . can somone explain please

  • @0aktown it from a school house rock video, about a bill becoming a law

  • Once actors and musicians begin reaching around the 50 million dollar status, they are forced to worship and promote Satan, no joke.
