@DrVivianBell Actually.... I enjoyed a number of versions of Speak Low, (Sarah Vaughan's) and namely Weill's himself. Streisand exposed the song to millions of listeners who perhaps never heard the song, and no doubt enhanced the estate of the Weill family.

It would be a very dull world indeed if we all had the same taste.

Tremendously and gifted the voice of Barbara Streisand is and we are so privileged to have lived heard her sing. Such a beautiful melody.

Her phrasing is a must for any singer who wants to imitate such exquisite first class taste.
