I first heard of Aphrodite's Child in the early 70's while living in Brazil, but at the time they didn't have a following in the U.S. although in later years Vangelis would trailblaze a path for himself in the U.S. with the theme song from Chariots of Fire. I love this band and Vangelis in particular.
