If there is any justice in Academy, they have to give this film couple of Oscars. I would go for even 6 or 7, including best picture, director, actors, but most certainly for production, especially for fantastic cinematography and beautiful editing.

Of course the film is pretentious: anything of this nature has to be! It's intelligent and insightful and studies the more pretentious of topics. The only person I know who told me they didn't like it was on Facebook on their laptop through most of it!

Mr. Nobody has a great cinematography, great score music, some of the actors such as Diane Kruger and Jared Leto are excellent and the script is original and moving I'll give all that BUT the direction is still awful. This is not a hyperbole, the scenes are taken to such a melodramatic level that they look somewhat childish. It seems like a complex film on the surface yet is too freaking redundant. I'm all for complex movies such as The Fountain or Eraserhead but it was a mess.

Such a wonderful movie. It makes one think about life, love, the universe... Life is a gift. Don't waste it. Brad Pitt deserves an Oscar nomination for his role. Also Emmanuel Lubezki for the incredible cinematography.

Terrence Malik gave Jessica Chastain an audition after watching the play Salome. He saw purity and grace from a profane role. This scene demonstrates that his perception is pin point accurate. And Couperin rocks!
