  • what type of reaction is this?

  • @TheVtotheROC its exothermic meaning heat is given out making the huge tube containing the hydrogen peroxide and manganese dioxide (or IV oxide both are same) to warm up

  • what is the best concentration 4 the experment because i only have 3% h2o2

  • This was really easy to understand, my thanks to the narrator!

  • i like this one

  • the best thing is to use 30% + hydrogen oxide and then throw in some manganes oxide, watch it go puuf!

  • soo the end product is water and oxygen ??! for my home work HELP!!!1

  • @HeySEmduh yes it is

  • Thank you so much! This is soooooo helpful for my chemistry project!

  • can you use manganese (IV) oxide as a catalyst too ??

  • @sharuto manganese (IV) oxide is just another name for manganese dioxide

  • Holy-Terrorist:>*=*

  • A very important effect in this demonstration is that the heat from the reaction greatly speeds up the decomposition process.

  • why percent is that hydrogen peroxide

  • i have a question, what is the concetnration of the h2o2. what is the best combination to create a LONG lasting effect

  • cant u use silver as a catalyst too? just curious

  • Yes ...works just as well

  • kewl, thanx
