I am a Westerner and I agree with you. Westernization makes me sad. My hope is for cultures to keep their traditions alive. If the whole world becomes just like the United States, there will be no point in traveling, and the beauty of other cultures will be lost.

also shows that you can be cool and traditional at the same time i.e. more westernization is not necessary to be cooler
