I live in washington and after seeing this, I started to wonder if our turn is next for something like this, we have a huge harbor but honestly if all the water drains out into the ocean and serges back in we are fucked. they say "oh the islands will break the wave" but tsunamis are not waves, just really powerful serges of water, so if the bay fill back up and over fills
@ishikawashana Then we are set to witness this exact same thing. We are on a faultline so when it happens it has the possiblity of being big. I imagened countless times of what it would look like from Tacoma to Seattle and it would be catastrophic.
The loss of life is disturbing and tragic. I feel real sadness watching and hearing about the multitude of problems resulting from this quake/tsunami - not least the radiation leaks. But this video prompted a more basic question: How many wrecked cars are these coastal people going to have for disposal? The buildings in this part of town survived, but the cars bobbed like corks. It's not the worst issue, but it's got to be handled.
even tho there are disasters i still want to live in japan
