Wow, even Bo didn't know how bad he was hurt. His injury turned out not to be a hip pointer, and he wouldn't play In Buffalo the next week. It turned out he would never play football again. What might have been had he not got hurt?
It's kinda erie hearing Bo Jackson say he'll be back for Buffalo the following week, when we all know now, that this was his last game. Whether the silver and black is in LA or Oakland, I'm a true fan to the death. Go
I hope the Raiders move back to Los Angeles... Oakland is a dump and a dead city and never coming back. It's as bad as Detroit but at least the Lions managed to get a nice state of the art Stadium. The Raiders are one of the NFL's most popular franchise, they deserve better than oakland and the coliseum.
1982-1994. The "lost" years. The Raiders have always been Oaklands' and Al Davis had no business moving the Raiders to L.A. in the first place. L.A. is a shit-hole and those creeps don't deserve jack-shit.
@rayjr62 L.A. a shit hole? I was in Oakland back in October 2011. Don't understand how Al Davis moved the franchise back to that dump. THe biggest piece of shit city I've ever been to. I hope the Raiders return to L.A. real soon, so I won't have to go back to Dumpland!
This is probably my all time favorite game. The end of the Eassion era and the start of the Bungal Era. Then the rap song of HUHHHH HHHHHHAAAAHHH HUNNHHHH HAAAAHHAAA. it sounded like a gun from the stands. Willie Gualt was the funniest signing ever. That guy sucked hardcore and Al decided to give him three times what that bum was ever worth. I love James Jett, draft the guy because he's a jett and hes fast. But hey I love the 80's/90's raiders.
@slydawg221 Don't forget Tim Brown, he won the Heisman back in '87. The '90 Raiders had THREE Heisman Trophy Winners. Now that's Commitment to Excellence. I don't like the Raiders, but Bo, Marcus and Tim are definitely class acts on and off the field.
@kcthatsawinner i agree and i think tim brown definitely deserves a HOF induction. but then again so do a few other raiders who are still being snubbed.
It is so weird to hear him say its not serious and I will play next week. God how I wish he was right. Had we had him I don't think Al Davis could even hold his hand up with how many rings would be on it. Also very weird to see OJ on the sidelines. If he were allowed to see this clip in prison it would be like seeing a diffenrent universe. Dude threw his life away.......
I have never actually seen any this on television. Was at the game courtesy of my uncle Ickey Woods...still a Raider fan though :) Guys were up in the nosebleeds at the Coliseum, smoking weed and fighting, classic Raiders! When Kevin Walker tackled Bo, it didn't even look serious. Little did I know it would prematurely end the career of one of the most supernatural athletes in NFL history. Then we got smoked in Buffalo the next week...making it really bittersweet
@cbaldwinjr Raiders would have won a damn Super Bowl in the 90's without a great QB. They had the best RB tandem of all time with Bo and Marcus. I think where they went wrong was letting Marcus Allen go
Well Marcus left as a free agent. That bridge had been burned by 1991...he languished on the bench behind Roger Craig, Eric Dickerson, and NICK BELL (yikes) the last two years. Al Davis...
@Summerslam96 Having one of the worst coaches ever in Art Shell is why they didn't win multiple superbowls, did you notice in this clip he calls a timeout with 20+ secs on the playclock as they are trying to kill the clock? Ive never heard of something so dumb
i will never 4 get this game ever.....when bo went down....i damn near died......itz only 2 otha times when i cried sportswise........when magic announced his hiv status and when tyson got knocced the fucc out by busta punk ass.....
@VANGOGH220 i'll never forget this game either. if i ever meet kevin walker face to face i'll kick his ass so bad he won't even remember his own name.
@slydawg221 it had nothing to do with Walker, do you not understand that Jackson had avascular necrosis? His hip was a ticking time bomb ready to go off
@slydawg221.... i know that... go google Avascular Necrosis and you will understand what i was trying to tell you... on second thought that prob wont help.., basically Jackson was already injured and his career over before he even played that day. He retired b/c of the necrosis, not because of the hit. the hit only brought his condition to the surface

Dick Enberg: "O.J. speaks to only Heisman winners, that's in his contract!"
Juice forgot to speak to Tim Brown, he's another Raider who is a Heisman Winner.

2 heisman winners in the same backfield, you can't do much better than that!
