When you become Born Again, you MUST REPENT, which has a two fold meaning - you must be sorry for your sinning, AND you must be willing to totally turn away from your past and it's sinful ways - meaning you MUST give up homosexuality. If you don't, you haven't repented, and so it will not take, when you pray the Prayer of Salvation.

Romans 1:26-27 teaches specifically that homosexuality is a result of denying and disobeying God. 1 Corinthians 6:9 proclaims that homosexual “offenders” will not inherit the kingdom of God. So again to those who say God made them gay and that he makes no mistakes, this is just not so. God did not make you gay it would make absolutely no sense for him to create something that completely contradicts one of the things he has taught us and that is that homosexuality is a sin, plain and simple. If God did as some gay people have said make them gay, he would just be contradicting what he has taught us, and that would make no sense. A lot of people just don't understand that. I used to be bisexual, and at the time I felt a bit of guilt for some reason and didn't know why.A couple months ago I got saved and decided to follow God and do the best I could to live my life the way he wants. I don't consider myself bisexual any longer and am not attracted to women they way I used to.
When we say homosexuality is a sin people are quick to accuse us of being homophobic and that isn't true. It is a sin and we want people who are living the homosexual lifestyle to come away from that and turn their life to God so they may have eternal life in heaven. There is nothing wrong with that. I've heard homosexuals defend themselves saying God makes no mistakes, and that is true, that being said, homosexuality is not something that comes from or was created by God.

@BloodBath1560 I do believe it's possible for a homosexual demon to be passed down to a baby from a ancestor (the Bible says sins of ancestors, to the third or fourth generation can be passed down), so this could account for someone thinking he was created homosexual, when in actuality it was a demon being passed down, but I think this is probably rare.

I'm happy to have found this video. I identify myself as lesbian but certainly not a happy one. The issues that you speak about are or have been mine for too long so it's now my intention to try and work through them the best way I know how. I've been to church, so many times, but still I've found no solace there. I pray often, but not to be delivered from homosexuality...just the crap that comes with it!!
This story really is true, i was a lesbien through and through. Although i had boyfriends anytime i was with them i had to fantasies about women. From a young when i watched porn, the focus was on the women and i was attracted to women. All that changed when i started going to church. The desire/attractiveness/lust for women just left me. I think this video is misinforming people about homosexuality. There are different kinds of homosexualities. This woman says she had decided that she was gay after years of bad relationships with boys. So, she used to be attracted to boys at some part of her life. Many gay people do not live homosexuality this way. They do not have any heterosexual past, they always attracted to their own sex. Giving up homosexuality mean giving up sex for them and it is impossible.

A sin should have some logic and fairness. Some people got this characteristic without any "intention" or experience, they do not have any heterosexual past. So it's not their choice. I was getting married to a woman that I truly loved and told God that if I am to marry her I need to get over my feelings for men and to let me know if I should marry her because I do not want either of us later to be hurt. When you become Born Again, you MUST REPENT, which has a two fold meaning - you must be sorry for your sinning, AND you must be willing to totally turn away from your past and it's sinful ways - meaning you MUST give up homosexuality. If you don't, you haven't repented, and so it will not take, when you pray the Prayer of Salvation.

I used to be bisexual, and at the time I felt a bit of guilt for some reason and didn't know why.A couple months ago I got saved and decided to follow God and do the best I could to live my life the way he wants. I don't consider myself bisexual any longer and am not attracted to women they way I used to.

The issues that you speak about are or have been mine for too long so it's now my intention to try and work through them the best way I know how. This story really is true, i was a lesbien through and through. Although i had boyfriends anytime i was with them i had to fantasies about women. From a young when i watched porn, the focus was on the women and i was attracted to women. All that changed when i started going to church. The desire/attractiveness/lust for women just left me. Now, I have heard advocates of the practice say it is impossible-OBVIOUSLY NOT.The issue here is not that God can't heal you but that you do not want to be healed.Love for our sins holds us back from surrendering to God.But may the Lord Jesus pour out his Spirit and continue to show how mighty he really is :)

I think this video is misinforming people about homosexuality. There are different kinds of homosexualities. This woman says she had decided that she was gay after years of bad relationships with boys. So, she used to be attracted to boys at some part of her life. Many gay people do not live homosexuality this way. They do not have any heterosexual past, they always attracted to their own sex. Giving up homosexuality mean giving up sex for them and it is impossible.

For some people it is a choice. But for some it is NOT. I was having erection when I saw half naked men when I was around 10! Bottom line - God's will is not for people to be gay - he didn't create anyone to be gay - being gay is a sin, like any other sin, and can be overcome, just like this video shows, by the power and authority of Jesus Christ. No it is a sin, and since it is a sin, that means we have a choice to do it or not to do it! We are not made that way, because it has nothing to do with reproduction. It is lust pure and simple! Why can't you understand that you believe that something which was written around 100 AD is a fact?
In the old days, it was also believed that the only way to handle psychosis was to lock people in rooms. Do we consider that a fact nowadays? Of course we don't.

Of course, that means we can throw it all away! Discard the 10 commandments, they're in the old testament. Discard the Holiness Code, too. Your reading of the Bible includes only what you take an interest in. Because homosexuality sounds bad to you, a (presumably) straight person, you find the verse that condemns it and pay attention to no other. Well I hope you've never worn a cotton blend or eaten shrimp, because according to the Bible, your fate is the same as a gay person's.

You don't know the Bible, so it's best if you don't quote it! Jesus came to fulfill the law! That means all the rituals the Hebrews had to do in the Old Testament, Jesus did away with, with his life, death, and resurrection. This does not mean that the 10 commandments are done away with. The same sins that were in affect in the Old Testament are continued in the New Testament.

In fact, Hebrews caught in a gay situation were put to death, in the Old Testament. Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed by God because of the gay lifestyle that had taken over those cities. No, the Bible says that sin is actually FUN for a season, but after that, it becomes a great pain! That good "season" may last for years and years, but the Bible says you WILL reap what you sow. If you sow sin, you will reap bad results which will manifest it in all kinds of bad ways, as the fruit of the harvest! The Bible says that everthing in the Kingdom of God is based on the seed principal. Sow good seeds, and reap good harvest, sow bad seeds, reap bad harvest!

Of course that doesn't make them saved. Getting saved for a gay person is surrendering your homosexuality to Jesus Christ, and repenting of it, and asking Jesus into your heart and life! Repenting means to recognize that it is a sin, and promising to turn away from it. You can't come to Jesus, Invite Him into your life, and keep on in the gay lifestyle. You MUST turn away from it, or be actively trying your best to get out of it, in the event you were to die - in order to get to heaven!

The Bible says that homosexuality is a sin, so since that is the case, it IS a matter of choice, and a person is NOT born with it! The Bible plainly says that those who practice the homosexual life style will NOT get into heaven! It doesn't matter if the person claims to be a Christian or not. You can't become a Christian, and continue in sin without remorse, and expect to get to heaven! This goes for all types of sin. Someone who is doing his best to quit his sinning, with God's help is ok.

The Bible tells us that sin IS fun, but only for a season! That season may last for years, but sooner or later you will pay for your sin. The longer you let the demonic powers have control of you, the more embedded they will become, and the harder it will be to get rid of them. You just wait and see! No, the Bible specifically indicates that God hates some sins more than others. Thus the punishment for them in the Old Testament varies, just like it does in our courts today. Commiting homosexuality was the death sentence in the Old Testament!
