What I like and admire, Chrissy, is your willingness to share your love of the organ on YouTube. Bravo! There are many children your age who think they are doing well if they can play "Chopsticks" on a piano!
Remember what Beethoven believed ... The organist who is master of the instrument is the chief among musicians.
Play in high heels if you are comfortable with them. Mme Sophie-Veroniqe does and Jeanne Demessieux did!
dont mind 34Bach....we dont know him at 34 but im sure we will all know you by 18 if you keep on with the good work. dont let anyone tell you not to play your pieces by heart. paul jacobs plays by heart , helmut walcher and karl richter both played by heart. just keep on doing what you do. God bless you.....(i'm sure 34Bach also thinks mozart should not have started composing at age 9 cos he was too young............)

I would add that you are too young for playing that piece with heart. You are too young for playing Bach! Bach is for mature organists, not for the snot like you! You play as a robot.
@34Bach You´re wrong. Bach loved clear structures, he composed "midi-like". Nearly 18000 views calls to confirm this. Bach would have loved this pedal solo.....
@ChrissysVideokids I'm interested in Bach, so I know what I'm saying! You have to play with feeling! Technique is not everything! The statement that early 18000 views calls to confirm this is stupid!
@34Bach No. First, music is a matter of taste, there is no "you have to..." :)
But, for the sake of argument, I do enjoy Bach music when it's played on rhythm to the letter, not with rubatos here and there. Try the first Organworks recordings of Walcha. Best box set I ever bought!
@34Bach This argument is pathetic, this video is not about perfect playing, or the best performance in the world, this is showing the potential of a future generation of Organists. Just by being an Organist you are meant to encourage young people to play, and not slate them for not playing it how you want to hear it. The fact you claim to play "more than others" is irrelevant, Bach takes a long time to understand and none of us can ever fully understand his works. So no one is wrong or right.
@34Bach I think robots play Bach very well, actually. I tried to play a bit of 565 (got to about the third note.) and I noticed that all of the emotion is clearly indicated on the page. The mordents and rests are precisely placed, leaving little room for improvisation, so I can't help but think that maybe Bach liked his music as he wrote it. You don't need your heart to play Bach; the heart is already there. All you need is superhuman technique, and I feel this organist has the makings of that.
@34Bach Of course Bachs music should be played with heart, despite it’s clear structure. Thinking that it was okay to play Bach (or any other music) purely mechanically is an widespread misconception. But how could one learn to understand this music if one doesn’t deal with it? “Learning by doing” is still a good idea.
@34Bach What qualifies you to make any comment? Are you a teacher or expert or just another ignorant critic, who in your petty little thoughts deem yourself worthy to judge others? You comment as one incredibly arrogant waste of human life. You most likely can't play this yourself on the manuals, let alone on the pedals. Silence yourself. Either by cutting out your tongue, or better, your heart. Since you might lack such, then a bullet to your brain (an even tinier organ) might suffice.
In your performance does not have any feelings! You play as a MIDI player! It is played without thinking. You need to have a lot to learn! I know what I'm saying, because I play more than you.
@34Bach LOL Another one that makes Poles look like a bunch of ignorant twits. I'm loosing hope in my own country. I can't even play like a midi player. I think I'll just go and shoot myself.
Great job keep it up

Yikes! Those high heels are a bad idea. They'd slip between the pedals too easily.

@34Bach Please do post a video of your playing so that better, more experienced organists may pick apart your playing abilities.
For what it's worth, I am very impressed that she can play this at her age, in high heels no less.
